In April 1999, dinosaurs egg fossils were found in the area of Shihwa Lake (3912 acres) at Gojung Ri, Songsan Myeon, Hwaseong City. It was appointed as a Natural Monument No 414 on March 22 2000 and this area is presumed to be the habitats of dinosaurs during the Cretaceous Period 100 million years ago and so far 10~15cm sized dinosaurs egg fossils were found on 30 places along with 200 fragments and various fossil plants, it will be the |
