Who Are Foreign Friends Helpers? |
|
|
Gyeonggi Province has selected 156 officals with foreign language speaking abilites (English 73, Japanese 49, Chinese 37, French 2, Russian 3, German 1) to help international visitors and residents, whose importance is growing as community members or partners for business.
The are dedicated and competent officials who have received eduation on laws and regulations that affect foreigners as well as on international etiquettes to become qualified ¢®¡Æhelpers¢®¡¾ for international visitors and residents.
These are all public servants paid by local governments (city/country government). Therefore, they do not charge any fee for the service they offer to foreign friends.

What the Helpers Do |

Providing information and guidance on living, working and tourism in Gyeonggi Province. |
|
Providing assistance in matters related to immigration affairs such as visa status, alien registration and other administrative procedures. |
|
Providing assistance in easing inconveniences due to language barriers (such as arragements for medical service) |
